Your Initial Dental Visit
The purpose of your initial dental visit is to become closely acquainted with you, your medical history, and the state of your dental health. You will consult personally with your dentist and dental health team, and we will perform a careful examination, including digital X-rays, to better gauge the severity of any existing dental issues.
Subsequent Dental Visits
Before your first visit, be sure to download our online patient forms, fill them out, and bring them with you to our office. After your initial examination, your doctor will be able to help you choose an appropriate treatment plan, if necessary.
If your teeth and gums are healthy and do not require treatment, then we may suggest scheduling your next checkup and cleaning. Routine dental exams and cleanings are an important part of good dental health. Every visit should be scheduled no more than six months apart, though you may require more-frequent visits if a dental issue exists.
